Just in case: is the Network-Level VPN discontinued since 4.99.22?

The option simply doesn't work. Well, in pure technicality it does but even a browser won't open a single thing.

I understand there are solutions for Discord to resolve its updates. Yet, for perspective, when they will ban Steam and messengers, it would still be nice to have a solution that works for each app too.

Currently I launch Discord under 4.99.21, then update, then hope it won't crash.

浏览器在其内部设置代理——采用代理扩展控制，（系统代理或）VPN打开与否都能正常浏览。
禁用扩展或扩展内“直接连接”下不能连接外网的VPN，可以认为是假VPN？
服务器节点是V4.99与V5通用的，V5是行进的方向。。。

开或不开VPN，试试手动设置赛风格式的多协议、双端口系统代理？或Proton VPN？

可参照Discord APP的代理设置，如法炮制VPN无效时，浏览器不用代理扩展但又有VPN效果的全局代理（比Discord 更简单）， Steam 等等呢？
